Lee Seung Gi gets frustrated on ‘Running Man’

Lee Seung Gi showed signs of his famous ‘heodang‘ personality on the latest episode of ‘Running Man‘.

Taking on the mantle of 007, Lee Seung Gi was given a special mission to seek out the hidden spy from their midst. As the final nametag-ripping battle wound down, he found himself one of the final three to survive.

The remaining survivors, Park Shin Hye and Song Ji Hyo, soon double-teamed against Lee Seung Gi, who under duress confessed that he was, in fact, 007. A surprised Park Shin Hye then revealed that they had been given a hint, which had said 007 would know about a vital clue to solving the final puzzle.

This came as a surprise to Lee Seung Gi. Even though he had been in possession of a vital hint all along, he knew nothing of this fact, causing him to proclaim, “Am I being used by the producers?”

Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon brings laughter to fans with her quick change of facial expressions

Girls’ Generation‘s Taeyeon has been drawing attention for making a variety of different facial expressions at a baby.

An online community forum recently uploaded a video of her with the title “Taeyeon, making faces at a baby and then pretending she didn’t“.

The video showed Taeyeon staring at a baby that was being carried by her mother and what drew the interest of fans was the looped facial expression that Taeyeon was making. She cooed the baby with loving eyes while sticking her lips out, but she suddenly stopped her actions and quickly reverted back to a straight face.

Netizens commented on her adorable yet bizarre behavior saying, “A baby is teasing a baby,” “Taeyeon is too cute,” and “Lovely and cute Taeyeon.”

Choi Kang Hee and Joo Won have finally met for the first script reading rehearsal for their new MBC drama, ‘My Girlfriend Is an Agent‘, w

hich has recently changed its name from ‘The Secret Lovers‘ to match the original movie version title.

The cast met for the first time on November 13th at the MBC Dream Center to break the ice and rehearse their script. Choi Kang Hee, who’s taking on the female lead ‘Kim Seo Won’, commented, “It’s been a while since I’ve been in an exciting drama such as this. I’m happy to be working with senior actors whom I’ve always respected.”

Joo Won, who will be playing the male lead of ‘Han Gil’, said, “I’m still lacking in areas so I’m grateful to have been given an opportunity to play a great role like this. I’m looking forward to learning a lot of acting from my amazing new seniors.”

2PM‘s Chansung, who will be playing ‘Gong Do Ha’, a special agent, earned a round of applause from the cast after belting out “Hands Up” at the scene. He greeted everyone by saying, “I’ll do my best not as 2PM’s Chansung but as actor Hwang Chansung.”

‘The Secret Lovers’ will begin airing in January of 2013.

2AM‘s Jo Kwon and 2PM‘s Wooyoung showed off their close friendship through a special, Christmas concept pictorial.

In the photos, both Jo Kwon and Wooyoung sport playful and mischievous facial expressions. Photos showing them enjoying champagne, eating pizza and holding up gifts show holiday cheer as well as a fun boy’s night out. They seem like they’re having a great time and it really feels like they are excited to have their own little party.

Jo Kwon and Wooyoung are known to be best friends in the K-Pop world but this photo shoot of just them two is the first since their debut and many fans are showing great interest.

South Korea’s Ministry of Culture, Sports & Tourism and Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) held its annual award show, ‘Korean Popular Cul

ture & Arts Award‘ at Seoul’s Olympic Hall on November 19th.

Three K-Pop artists won awards at the award show. SHINee won the Ministry of Culture Award, 2NE1 won the Prime Minister’s Award, and Psy received the highest honor with the Cultural Medal Award. Actor Kim Soo Hyun also received the Ministry of Culture Award.

The awards are given to recognize the contributions of people and artists in the promotion and spread of the Hallyu Wave.

2PM gives a letter to Hottests during their Shanghai concert

2PM saluted the dedication of their fans with a special video that was aired during their Shanghai concert yesterday.

Filmed to express their appreciation for Hottests

 who had stuck with the group through thick and thin, the film aroused emotions in the packed stadium, with cheers erupting from the audience as the video letter was revealed.

In the middle of MC Onew asked, “How are you doing ~!?”

During at the later part in Dazzling Girl Key accidentaly hit someone’s mouth. As his eyes met Minho’s, who was suppressing his mouth, he laughed too hard that he couldn’t sing.

When they’re introducing themselves, Taemin didn’t say anything when it was his turn. Then he had that startled expression and was laughing while introducing himself. And then when it Minho’s turn, only “I’m ☆＊○◇▲” can be heard because his voice was too low. Yeah, he probably said that he is Minho.

During the final greeting, Key daringly rolled up his jacket and scratched his left abdoment splendidly. Jjong imitated him.

When announced that they secured the second place in Oricon chart, Minho was too happy that he reached for both of Key’s hands and started to dance.

After Onew asked, “How are you doing?” someone at the front said, “Niisan~ (Older brother).” Ah, I should have said it.

When talking about their roles in Dazzling Girl MV, Minho said,”I was a hair stylist.” The other four had fun laughing.

About Key’s dazzling girl, he said, “Someone who fits me well. She’s in here too.” “Who?” “So rude that you should ask. It’s everyone in here! Everyone!” he answered while making a big circle with his hand. He was good in uniting everyone.

As Jjong explained, “The key was high, so the expression… it’s hard!.. Huh?” suddenly he lost confidence. Then Key said, “Explain it properly. So, to explain it…” In the end, he asked the interpreter. You had it hard, Mom.

When they’re in standby for Sherlock and it’s dark, Minho pushed Key. There’s a shriek. Key couldn’t get in the line. Jjong joined in and pushed Key too. A shriek again. Yeah, I got it. You both like Key, okay…

To announce the title of the new single, someone said to Key, “It’s your first time, right?” and made Key answer. He was laughing in a deep voice but afterwards, he brushed up his hair and said,”1000 years, always be by my side…” with serious face. “100 years? No! 10 years? No way! It’s 1000 years!” So cool and I died.

Every time the members spoke, Jonghyun would repeat 80% of what they said.

Taemin’s dazzling girl… “I found one today” “Who is it? Who is it” Taemin just grinned. They asked again, “Where is she?” Still grinning, Taemin said, “There’s none. Hehehehe..” You fooled us, huh?

Minho was asked on his thought after seeing the lyrics of Dazzling Girl. Key said to him, “Minho, please tell us about it. In Japanese!” Key was emphasizing on the Japanese part. The charismatic guy smiled bitterly.

Minho couldn't explained smoothly in Japanese… “The lyrics… I was happy.” “What do you mean by happy!?” That made him stumbled again. As he was panicking Taemin came to him, grinning, and wiped his sweat for him before adding, “Please speak seriously.” Taemin, your kindness lasted in just a moment.

While looking out for his dazzling girl, Minho saw someone was holding to a board with ‘Kyu line” written on it. He pointed to the board and read, “Kyu line..” Then he added, “Congratulations.” So for Choi Minho, Kyu line is an existence meant to be congratulated.

When choosing his dazzling girl, Taemin rubbed his towel against his chest and threw it to the audience..! And it turned out that he was just pretending. Key scolded Taemin, saying that it’s a dangerous.

Taemin then went to Key and gave him the towel. The members said he couldn't do that because Key is a guy. Taemin probably was too shy to pass the towel to the fan. He squatted down, before passing the towel with his back turned on her.

Onew had fun imitating the fan’s reaction when she got the towel. Other members told her, “It’s great isn't it?” “You’re lucky!”

2PM‘s Jun.K revealed that a 2PM member is currently in a relationship.

On the 11th, Jun.K featured on the first episode of tvN‘s ‘The Romantic & Idol‘ where he held an interview with the staff. He said, “It’s been a really long time since I dated someone. People around me sincerely tell me to date.”

When asked about if anyone in 2PM was in a relationship at the moment, he answered, “There’s no one in 2PM who’s in a relationship right now. No actually… there’s one.” After he made the confession, he quickly became flustered, saying, “Wait, I’m getting tricked into saying this.”

The stock price of IU’s agency is falling

Since the rumors of IU’s romance with Super Junior’s Eunhyuk came out, the stock price of Loen Entertainment (IU’s agency) has been falling.

As of 9:20 a.m. on November 12, the stock price of Loen Entertainment is 13,850 won, which is 350 won (2.46 percent) lower than that of yesterday. The stock price of SM Entertainment, Eunhyuk’s agency, is currently 64,600 won, which is 100 won (0.15 percent) lower than yesterday.

Since a picture of IU and Eunhyuk was released online by mistake on November 10, the rumors of IU’s romance with Eunhyuk has spread on the Internet. Many people have expected that IU’s work will be damaged by this.

Jang Keun Suk hopes the diplomatic relations between Korea and Japan improve

Jang Keun Suk recently said he hopes the diplomatic relations between Korea and Japan improve.

On November 13, Jang had a press interview for the launch of Mitsui Sumitomo Card Korea TravelPrepaid at the Crystal Ball Room at Lotte Hotel.

Launching a credit card that has his picture on, Jang said, “I’m glad that a lot of Japanese people now can see my face whenever they come to Korea. I wish the diplomatic relations between Korea and Japan improve through this card and more Japanese people feel friendly toward Korea.”

Jang also said, “Because there’s a picture of my face on the card, I tried to look trustworthy when I shot a commercial for the card.”

Shimada Hideo, the CEO of Mitsui Sumitomo Card, says, “Because Jang Keun Suk is very popular all over Asia, including Korea and Japan, he will be able to make the image of the card more friendly and convenient.”

Mitsui Sumitomo Card Korea Travel Prepaid is a prepaid card for Japanese people who travel Korea. Jang was recently selected as a model for the card.

EXO fans, are you excited? It seems EXO K has partnered up with Samsung to help promote the brand’s smart PC line!

Samsung Notebook’s Facebook account was updated with the photo above and the statement,“The ATIV Smart PC recently teamed up with one of Asia’s hottest up-and-coming K-pop groups to bring you their interpretation of the power & freedom brought on by the device. In just a few days, you’ll see what we’re talking about.”

Fans quickly noticed that the group on the screen in the picture was none other than EXO-K, bringing about delight and squeals from those who have been awaiting news of the group’s comeback. Although this may or may not have anything to do with their comeback, it is at least a new project for the boys that fans can anticipate.

Running Man-Lee Seung Gi and Park Shin Hye

Lee Seung Gi and Park Shin Hye will appear on SBS TV’s ‘Running Man’ as guests.

On November 12, one of the crew of the show reported that Lee Seung Gi is shooting an episode of ‘Running Man’. A spokesperson for Lee Seung Gi also said, “Lee Seung Gi will soon release a new material and have concerts, so he decided to appear on ‘Running Man’ as a guest.”

Lee Seung Gi has appeared on KBS 2TV’s ‘Happy Sunday – One Night and Two Days’ for five years since 2007 as a regular cast.

After shooting the episode, Lee Seung Gi will shoot a commercial for Samsung Electronics’ refrigerator model Zipel.

On November 22, Lee Seung Gi will release a new EP. He will also hold concerts, titled 2012 Lee Seung Gi Hope Concert, on December 1 and 2 at the Gymnastics Stadium at Olympic Park.

Lee Seung Gi and Park Shin Hye will be guests on ‘Running Man’

Singer-actor Lee Seung Gi and actress Park Shin Hye will be appearing as guests on an upcoming episode of SBS‘ ‘Running Man‘.

A representative of Lee Seung Gi confirmed the news on November 12th and it’s been revealed that the two guests are currently filming together with the ‘Running Man’ cast members near Gangnam, Seoul.

This will be Lee Seung Gi’s first appearance on a variety program since leaving SBS’s ‘Strong Heart‘ back in April. The singer received much love and praise for his variety skills on ‘Strong Heart’ and ‘1 Night 2 Days‘, so many are anticipating to see his interaction with the ‘Running Man’ cast members.

Not only is Lee Seung Gi’s return to variety shows being highlighted, but the fact that he is coming on the rival program of KBS ‘1 Night, 2 Days’, which he was a permanent cast of for many years, is also bringing attention.

“There’s been a lot of attention that’s being brought upon his appearance on a rival program, but Lee Seung Gi is appearing on ‘Running Man’ to promote his upcoming album and concert,” stated Hook Entertainment.

“It’s not as if ‘1 Night, 2 Days’ invites guests on the show, or he chose ‘Running Man’ over ‘1 Night, 2 Days’ after being invited to both. It’s unfortunate that this rivalry with ‘1 Night, 2 Days’ is being focused on.

Meanwhile, Park Shin Hye recently made a cameo appearance in Taiwanese remake of SBS ‘You’re Beautiful’, while Lee Seung Gi is currently preparing for his comeback as a singer.

A lot of people thinks that she's bitchy. I think she's just being herself. But she should still control herself since she's an idol. She should always remember that and maintain her image.

 If you watch F(X) Koala or other variety shows, you can tell that Krystal is actually just a sweet, innocent maknae. It's just that sometimes, she has mood swings and can't really control her feelings. Remember, she's still a human, who has feelings.

Someday in October, the 5 members boy band SHINee appeared in one of the shooting studio located at Tokyo city. Compared to the first ever photoshoot with ELLE which happened a year and a half ago, they surprised us with more manliness.
This is understandable though, from the spring to summer, they had Arena Tour in all different places in Japan, their Japanese conversational skill improved by a lot as well. However, no matter how much they’ve improved, they are still the same friendly persons.

Taemin: After so many times of travelling between Japan and Korea, I don’t even know how many servings of ramen I’ve had!

Jonghyun: I learnt my Japanese from a Japanese friend whom stays in Korea, but I couldn’t learn the honorific language no matter what (laughs).

The concept for this shooting is “Photo Diary in Tokyo”, every members will have a camera and take pictures of their bandmates. Even though the members are very close, but they are still very excited about this. Especially Minho whom just ended his drama filming, he said, “It’s been long since I met my members!” Looking extremely happy.

Talk about photography, member Key whom excels in all different aspects did the best..
Key: Previously during my birthday, my mom gave me a camera as present, to be honest compared to photography, I am more into movie shooting. I often experiments with my DV, so I ended up having a reality SHINee footage haha. Well because I have too many of the real side of SHINee recorded, it’s not something that I can show people easily anymore, something really precious to me. (laughs)

Last month they released an original Japanese single , wondering what kind of female appears to be the most dazzling ones to them?
Jonghyun: Someone who works hard.
Key: Someone whom I find similiar after having conversations. At that moment I would find her especially attractive, even the face would look different than just ordinary.
Onew: Someone with aura. (okay really the CN trans says so, so yeah==)
Minho: Someone whom likes me, the moment when I got attracted with her perfume (?)
Taemin: I think female whom wants to get married asap is the prettiest… why am I the only one who thought so..

Sup yo! I wanted to share this yesterday but I was too busy so yeah? Happy Pepero day!! <3

Pepero (빼빼로) is a cookie stick, dipped in chocolate syrup, manufactured by Lotte Confectionery in South Korea since 1983. It is similar to Pocky, a Japanese snack food, introduced in 1966 and produced by the Ezaki Glico.

There are 1o different kind of flavours~

• Regular or Chocolate
• Strawberry-flavored
• Almond Chocolate
• Nude (chocolate in the center)
• Nude Lemon Cheese
• Cocoa
• Soft
• Cheese
• "Woman in White" and "Man in Black" are slightly more "classy" brands of Pepero, and both have chocolate cookie bits scattered throughout the chocolate dip.
• Chocolate covered pretzel sticks.

Pepero Day~

Pepero Day is an observance in South Korea similar to Valentines Day. It is named after the Korean snack: Pepero and held on November 11, since the date "11/11" resembles four sticks of Pepero. The holiday is observed mostly by young people and couples, who exchange Pepero sticks, other candies, and romantic gifts. Lotte denies starting the holiday and instead states that they noticed a bump in Pepero sales around November 11th and after continued popularity they decided to then encourage the holiday with special gift boxes and other promotions. Some consider it to be a contrived holiday and some teachers have encouraged children to exchange healthy snacks to help combat obesity. An alternative "Garatteok Day" (sticks of white tteok) has been proposed.

According to one story, Pepero Day was started in 1994 by students at a girls' middle school in Busan, where they exchanged Pepero sticks as gifts to wish one another to grow "as tall and slender as a Pepero (I don't know whether this story is true)

SNSD 3rd Mini Album: Hoot Review

Hi! This is a short review on SNSD 3rd Mini Album: Hoot :) It contains a CD, a random photocard out of 18 and a photobook.

I got Hyoyeon's photocard and her autograph was at the back of the card :D I was hoping to get Taeyeon's or YoonA's.

SNSD Run Devil Run Album Review

Hi~ Here's a short review on SNSD Run Devil Run album. It contains a special photocard, a poster, a photobook and a CD. I kinda like the special photocard because it has all the members' autograph at the back. There's random pictures on the photocard. Each member has at least 2 pictures. There's all the members' signature for every photocard. The only difference is the pictures. There will be a random poster inside the album and I got Hyoyeon's. I was hoping to get Yuri's or maybe Taeyeon's.......well never mind. I like the songs~! It's very nice. Here's the tracklist:

All the songs are really nice even though the photobook isn't that nice. And I kinda like the idea of giving random posters instead of photocards and the special photocard is really nice too :) I think I'll buy another album! F(X) Nu ABO Album Review

Hi~ I just bought F(X) Nu ABO Album a few months ago and I'm doing a review now! Basically, I'm kinda happy with this album! The photobook is really nice :) And the songs are quite good. Keke~ I got group photocard (yay!~) I'm really happy with this album. (especially the awesome photobook) Oh and.....I don't really like the cover......can't the cover be the whole group instead of only Sulli? But still, I think the cover is acceptable :) I'll rate this album.... Photobook: 9/10 Songs: 7/10 Photocard: 8/10 Overall: 8/10 :) Please support F(X) (especially Krystal(my bias ^^). Thank you! F(X) Electric Shock Album Review

Hi!~ I bought F(X) Electric Shock Album a few months ago(Yeah? So this review is kinda late.....) I got group photocard (yay!) But, I'm kinda disappointed. The songs aren't really nice(except for electric shock :D) And the photobook! Some of the photos are so blur! And the quality of the photos isn't that great and all the photos are kinda......weird? (hate to say this but.....even my friends say so!) So yeah? I kinda regret buying this album. I bought it for around $23(SGD). Other than the group photocard, the rest of the stuff are so disappointing.
